Rows of little watercoloured, jewelled bugs (the largest “dragonfly” measures just over 1″ across). One of the small islands off the north-western tip of mainland Trinidad, Gasparee is a true escape from the boisterous city. A lazy boat ride over results in a tropical version of going to the cottage, insects and all.
